Install from the address bar

Look for the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install. If neither is there, your school may have turned app installs off — the site works the same in a tab.

Every way to install

Mac

  1. In Chrome: click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or open the ⋮ menu and choose Cast, save and share, then Install page as app.
  2. In Safari (macOS Sonoma or later): choose File, then Add to Dock.

Windows

  1. Open munconference.com in Microsoft Edge or Chrome.
  2. Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar — or in Edge open the … menu, then Apps, then Install this site as an app.
  3. It is added to the Start menu and can be pinned to the taskbar.

Chrome and Chromebooks

  1. Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar.
  2. Or open the ⋮ menu, choose Cast, save and share, then Install page as app.
  3. On a school Chromebook, installs may be turned off by your IT admin. The site works the same in a tab.

Every version opens the same live site, so there is nothing to update by hand and no data lives only on one computer — except votes held during an outage, which send themselves when the connection returns.
